This painting was inspired by the beautiful illustrations of Loren Long from the children's book "The Little Engine That Could". This is a mixed media painting using Silks Acrylic Glaze and Oil Pastel resist. I painted this for my Autistic son who is passionate about this book and loves to stare at the clown. It is a beautiful, happy, and thoughtful picture that is perfect for a children's bedroom or playroom. The original is not for sale.
